EA later clarified that they consider Mirror's Edge "an important franchise", but otherwise had no further announcements. EA President Frank Gibeau confirmed on E3 2011 that a sequel is in development, and that it may run on the Frostbite 2 gaming engine.

Da es bisher keinerlei offizielle Ankündigung oder irgendwelche Informationen gibt, wird da vor Q4 2012 vermutlich nichts kommen.
