Keine Internetverbindung mit der PS3

Problem mit Internetverbindung!!!!

Hallo!!!
Ich habe ein Problem mit meiner Playsi Online zu gehen!
Ich habe eine Fritz Box SL (auf Modem eingestellt, kann aber auch auf Router umgestellt werden), über diese bin ich mit dem PC verbunden, Internet funktioniert einwandfrei am PC, dann steck ich das Kabel von der fritz Box ab und steck das Patchkabel von der PS3 ran, dann geh ich unter Netzwerkeinstellungen auf der Playsi, hab alles ausprobiert Manuell, Automatisch und PPPoe funktioniert alles nicht!!!
Bei PPPoe geb ich meine Daten von T-Online ein und mein Kennwort, erkennt die IP-Adresse nicht (Zeitablauf überschritten oder so)
Bei Manuell erkennt er meine IP-Adresse, aber bei Internetverbindung kommt fehler bei der kommunikation mit dem Server (DNS Fehler)!!!
Bei Automatisch erkennt er die IP auch nicht!!!
Ich weiß nicht mehr was ich tun soll, bin total verzweifelt!!!!

Was kann ich machen?

Lösung gefunden!!!!

Hallo alle miteinander!!!!
ich habe mein Problem gefunden, ich habe alles richtig eingegeben mit dem PPPoe, das einzigste Problem war das Kabel, ich habe ein 5m Patchkabel und mit einem 2m Patchkabel vom PC ging es!!!
Komisch ist aber so!!!!

Do you have a PC running on your Speedport, or just the PS3 ?

1) If you have a PC connected :
- does your internet connection work on the PC ??
- LAN configuration on your PC -> does your PC receive his IP-ADRESS autom. via DHCP ?)
- could you give me an overview of your ethernet-config ( via the
<IPCONFIG /all> command on your PC) ??

2) If you just connected the PS3 :
- Is your Speedport in standard setup (out of the box) or did you change the
configuration ?

Hi MadMoh,thanks for the reply.I finally have my PS3 with internet working.I found a site where it explained step by step what I should do.I am not the most computer literate but couldn´t sony have made it a little easier to set up?
I do have one more question that I would greatly apprecite if you have an answer.
Is it possible to look at sites like Hotmail and so forth with the PS3 and if so,how?
The only site I could receive was the playstation site.Typed various entries in the the search box but always replied with not found.

I think the problem isn´t on Sony´s side! It depends on the variety of the
internethardware. You have billions of different router + modem manufacturer
and all of them deliver their hardware in different setups !
-> there is no kind of STANDARD. You also have hundreds of different internet
provider, working with different techniques.
So Sony has to find a way to satisfy all of them, and that´s really a problem

Once you started the PS3 internet browser (where you received the
playstation site), you have to press the start/select button on your PS3 pad
(iam not sure at this moment, which button exactly ) One button
opens the <bookmark menue> (here you can create your own bookmarks, as
known in normal PC internet browser). The other button opens a window
where you can enter a <URL> (for e.g. www.hotmail.com).

In principle you can receive every website in the www.
The only restriction of the PS3 browser -> they have problems with newer
flash programming and playing embedded video files or streams. But if your
Hotmail interface is plain html or java, it should work!
I have an online mail account with german telekom and it works fine!
The navigation by the PS3 pad fells a bit strange
But if you own keyboard+mouse, its no problem
